THE BEAUTIFUL TABLE FOOTBALL CLUB
About us:
Worcester River Plate Severn TFC was established in 2005. The players meet alternate Thursday evenings in St. Johns, Worcester, UK. The club has 8 competing members in their domestic league. Three of the players have world rankings and have played in International tournaments.
"I'll be back!" The immortal words uttered by 'Arnie' in the hit movie Terminator... are
ringing in the ears of all living in the Faithful City of Worcester... as our very own
"Shearminator" emerges from the shadow of England Legend Alan Cook to lay claim
to the WRP7 league title. His 3-0 victory over reigning back to back champion
Cook puts him firmly in the driving seat to reclaim the title that was once his
sole property. "It was like a new Shearminator" exclaimed club chairman Tim Lovell.
"Like the differenec between the T-1000 model and the one dressed as a woman..
that advanced only without a dress and make up. It was as if he'd had an upgrade,
a new weapons system for Christmas as this guy was firing on all cylinders!"
Paul "Shearminator" Shearman was a little more down to Earth about his victory.
"I caught Alan early in the game and it put him off his stride a little. He's a great
player and I hardly feal worthy to have taken all the points!"

SHEARMINATED!
Whilst WEEK 4 of the World famous league season 5 was dominated by the
fortunes of part man part machine Paul Shearman, the rest of the fixtures
bore little excitement, more a mire of mid winter, heavy pitch, hum drum table
football draws. The highlight being the Buzby's amazing 1-0 victory in their BYE
fixture. "A win is a win, it doesn't matter how you get the points... just get them!"
exhaulted the clinically upset Buzby coach Tim Lovell. The other noatable
milestone of the evening was club newcomer Chris Cooke racking up two
impressive draws against quality opposition. "I'm on more points than the whole
of last season" chirped the jubilant player manager.
