THE BEAUTIFUL TABLE FOOTBALL CLUB

About us:

Worcester River Plate Severn TFC was established in 2005. The players meet alternate Thursday evenings in St. Johns, Worcester, UK. The club has 8 competing members in their domestic league. Three of the players have world rankings and have played in International tournaments.
SEASON 5 IS UNDERWAY!!! Yes, the new season has kicked off at the famous
Worcester Club. This time a SWISS System has been introduced to give all the
competing players a chance of league success. "Its a great way to play competative
table football, it's like two divisions in one league with promotions and relegations
up and down the table!" Exhaulted club chairman Tim Lovell

With the first session complete it is The Shearminator who leads the table on 6pts.
But the Buzby's have hit great form in pre season and their opening fixtures, being
defeated in just one of 6 matches.

All the results from week one of season 5 can be found onour CLUB NEWS page.

SEASON 5 KICKS OFF

The new SWISS style system means players do not need to attend every
club meeting, however attendance will rack up more points in the overall
championship table. So with current league title holder Alan Cook yet to play,
his hopes of a hat trick of championships may well be harder to achieve!

The club also wishes Chris Cooke and his new wife many congratulations as
they begin married life together. "We look foward to Chris coming back to
the club once he has returned from honeymoon. He is a great addition to
the Worcester fold."
